After a track inspection today and close analysis of the weather forecast the decision has been made to cancel this weekends Club Day.
Unfortunately the track is completely underwater from last nights rain and there is no chance of it drying out before Sunday. There is also more rain forecasted to be on the way. This means our next scheduled Club day will be 04/08/19 as per the Calendar. - IRC Committee. After a track inspection today and close analysis of the weather forecast the decision has been made to cancel this weekends Club Day.
Unfortunately the track is still very wet and will struggle to dry out as it is. With 10-15mm forecasted to fall on Sunday, it is too risky. This means our next scheduled Club day will be 07/07/19 as per the Calendar. - IRC Committee. The yearly Proline Interclub Series returns to IRC Off Road on the 1st and 2nd of June 2019.
This is always an extremely popular event with drivers from all over NSW attending. Please click HERE to enter online for this event. This weekend will be a Maintenance Weekend on both Saturday and Sunday.
We will have the bobcat and roller on site to get the work done. If you could lend a hand it would be greatly appreciated. Many hands makes light work! On behalf of the Committee;
With most of our members/committee attending the Canberra Round of the Proline Series this weekend, we obviously will not have the hands/time to repair our track. We have a race day scheduled the the 14th of this month. This will need to be rescheduled. Canberra have been kind enough to offer to reschedule their club day on the 28th to allow us to run if needed. This leaves us with the weekend of the 13th/14th of this month, or the Easter long weekend to undertake major track repairs. The Club is happy to hire out the Bobcat/Roller for either of these weekends providing we have enough people there each day to do the work. There has also been talk about changing the track layout and this can be discussed if we get the hands to help. Obviously we do not expect the same people there each day, but we will require a minimum of 5 people each day to get the work done. Please see our Facebook page to vote on the weekend that suits you best to help if you can. Whatever option (if any) works best for the most people will be chosen. If we do not get sufficient people to help the track will stay as it is and no events will be run until a maintenance weekend with enough people can be organised. - IRC Committee. This weekends race day has unfortunately been cancelled due to wet weather.
