About us:
Illawarra Remote Control Off Road Incorporated (IRC Off Road) is a 1/8th scale & 1/10th scale RC Off Road Club/Track located in Albion Park, NSW, Australia. The track is approximately 20 minutes drive South of Wollongong and around 1 hours drive South of Sydney.
We pride ourselves on hosting family friendly race days and ensure there is always a great atmosphere during race days/events at IRC Off Road. We attempt to run Club Race Days twice a month and timed practice days occasionally (weather pending). We also periodically host large, multi-day events such as State Titles or Proline events throughout the year. If you are interested in visiting or attending a race day/timed practice day, please see our Race Calendar page for more information on our events planned for the year.
Our club is open to anyone, whether you are an RC veteran, or have never driven an RC car on a track before, we welcome you. With one of the largest RC Club numbers in NSW, fellow racers at the track are always more then happy to help newcomers/less experienced individuals. If you are nervous about racing, don't be! Races are always held in heats according to driver skill level to ensure everyone has a fair and enjoyable time on the track. Spectators are also more then welcome to visit and watch the action unfold when events are on.
Majority of our racing consists of 1/8th scale Nitro and Electric Buggy.
We also run the following classes (depending on entry numbers): 1/8th scale Truggy and 1/10th scale (open).
