1/8 Nitro Qualifying. Up front it was the Mitch & Kev show. They were both throwing TQ Runs down each qualifier and it wasn’t until the last qualifier that Mitch got Kev by 0.01 of a second after 7 minutes of on track action. Both drivers driving on the absolute edge without mistakes throwing down 14 lap runs. The remaining A Finalist qualifiers who drove extremely well were Cary Davies 3rd, Stephen Sneddon 4th, Austin McMahon 5th This wasn’t the only show though, with the top six drivers all vying for a position in the prestigious A Finals, the last Spot was taken by Jacob Marsden by 5 seconds from Conor Pham. After 7 minutes, this was extremely close. 1/8 EP Qualifying This was another tight one between Simon Haverfield and Corey Ellis, both drivers on 13 Lap runs who were separated by 16 seconds after all tiebreakers. Lenny Cowen 3rd, Greg Rosander 4th, Russell Meredith 5th and Ethan Ryan 6th. 1/8 Nitro A Finals Due to numbers we had to run 3 x 7 Minute A finals. Again up front it was between Mitch and Kev, with Kev taking the Overall win by the smallest of margins. 1st Kev Lewis Kyosho 2nd Mitchell Scott Agama 3rd Cary Davies Kysoho 4th Stephen Snedden SWorks 5th Austin McMahon Kyosho 6th Jacob Marsden Tekno 1/8 Nitro B Finals Lindsay had his church duties in the morning and as such missed out on qualifying, however he was able to race his car in the B final against some hard fought competition. 1st Lindsay Frost Kyosho 2nd Conor Pham Mugen 3rd Darren Ibbotson Mugen 4th Chris Ossio Mayako 5th Jonny Nguyen 6th Christian Calderon Mayako 1/8 EP Finals. This was another action packed series of 3 finals with Simon and Corey trading places and the racing was tense and close between them.
